XDefiant, supposed to be out by the end of February, has been delayed once again

Despite having an open beta that ran from June 21 to 23, 2023, XDefiant is still not available. Ubisoft was aiming for a launch before March 31, but since we still don't have any information as this date approaches, it's safe to assume that it has been delayed once again.

The latest information obtained by Insider Gaming supports this hypothesis. A source within the French publisher is quoted as saying that the game was supposted to launch during the last week of February.

The devs are also said to be extremely frustrated with certain decisions taken by the project's directors, which are said to be trying to copy Call of Duty by adding "useless things that always break the current version" of the game.

Fortunately, the future of XDefiant is not in danger, and development is proceeding normally, with some playtests even taking place over the weekend.
