The Rising Tide DLC for Final Fantasy XVI will be available from April 18

After the launch of the first DLC last December, Final Fantasy XVI will welcome some new content once again as early as next month.

Square Enix has confirmed that The Rising Tide DLC will be available on April 18. It's included in the expansion pass sold sold for €24.99 on PlayStation Store.

To access the new content of The Rising Tide, you'll need to have completed both the base game and it's first DLC. There's a new zone, Mysidia, waiting top be explored, some new heroes to be met, an extra boss battle and the star of the show, Leviathan itself.

As far as the end game is concerned, there's the Kairos Gate, a series of long battles consisting of 20 different levels, each one more difficult than the last.

Along with The Rising Tide will come update 1.30, which will improve quest icons, make skills and accesories easier to use, add a custom controller type and make some fixes to the photo mode.
