Here's what the future holds for Balatro, including daily challenges and a mobile version

Studio LocalThunk recently provided an update on the future of Balatro. The roguelike poker game has been a huge success, reaching 500,000 sales in just 10 days.

So, what can we expect?. For one, daily challenges and a history of previous games are coming. There's also a mobile version in the pipeline. We'll know more in no time.

Finally, LocalThunk also reported on the rating problem that led to the withdrawal of Balatro from certain online stores in Europe. The PEGI rating system felt that the title promoted gambling.

"I still believe that the rating is unwarranted, but there is some grey area for interpretation from PEGI and at this point it is what it is. I think the one thing I am most disappointed by is the fact that other games with actual gambling mechanics aren't rated the same way because of their appearance/theme."
