Todd Howard revealed Fallout 5 details to TV series creators

While the Amazon-produced series will fit just right into the Fallout universe, it's clear now that there will be no overlap with the events that will unfold in the fifth game.

That's what Jonathan Nolan, director of the series due to arrive on Prime Video on April 11, has made clear. In a previous statement, Nolan had said that this adaptation would be "almost like Fallout 5", but without it being a video game.

During an interview, Todd Howard, creative director of the saga at Bethesda Game Studios, made no secret of the fact that he had told the series' teams some details about Fallout 5.

"Well, there were some things where I said, ‘Don’t do this because we are going to do that in Fallout 5."

It's a statement that suggests that the fifth game is at least in pre-production at the studio which is now working on The Elder Scrolls VI.
