On Steam, the number of Assassin's Creed IV players has risen sharply since the release of Skull and Bones

Last week, Insider Gaming reported that Skull and Bones had around 850,000 players across all platforms. This figure also included users passing through the free trial, though.

At present, the game is not available on Steam, so many have turned to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, from which Ubisoft's latest production takes its inspiration.

As a result, Blag Flag saw its number of simultaneous players rise by approximately 200%. On February 16, the SteamDB site showed 1,679 simultaneous users, then 2,600 the following day, and finally 3,226 on February 18. At the time of writing, 2,443 people are playing the fourth game.
