Skull and Bones is estimated to have 850,000 players

While Ubisoft has yet to release any figures for Skull and Bones, the Insider Gaming site claims to have had access to data on the French publisher's AAAA game.

According to this initial info, the title currently has around 850,000 players across all platforms. This total also includes users passing through the eight-hour free trial. What's more, the average player spends between three and four hours a day on the game. That's quite a commitment.

It remains to be seen whether those using the trial version will switch to the full game in large numbers.
