Larian calls on players to wait calmly for Baldur's Gate 3 official mod support
, by Thibaut
Last week, Larian Studios announced the creation of an official mod design and compatibility tool for Baldur's Gate 3. It's a new feature so eagerly awaited that it led to a wave of toxicity and threats against developers.
In a thread published on X.com, publishing manager Michael Douse set the record straight.
"We’ll be talking in depth about what our mod support will look like soon. Been working on it since launch. As always, we’ll discuss it in our way with our community. Threats & toxicity against our devs & community teams will only harm the conversation. Please stop that."
Douse adds that discussion with fans has become more complex as the community has rapidly grown from 2 million to 10 million players. He also says that Larian's current focus is on rolling out new updates, while working on mod support.
