Rise of the Ronin will have no PvP but online coop for up to 4 players

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have the heavy responsibility of delivering the next major PS5 exclusive. Indeed, Rise of the Rōnin is expected on Sony's console on March 22, 2024.

Between now and then, we'll have the opportunity to learn more about the game through videos and statements from the developers. In this regard, an FAQ posted by PlayStation tells us that the title will not feature competitive multiplayer.

However, it will be possible to complete the main missions in cooperation with three other players online. A PlayStation Plus subscription will of course be required.
