Fallen into public domain, the first Mickey Mouse is already in a horror game

January 1st marked the arrival of the first Mickey Mouse (seen in the short film "Steamboat Willie") in the public domain. This means the famous character can appear in any work without needing Disney's approval.
For example, the legendary mouse will make a striking appearance in the video game Infestation 88. All with a disturbing and, to say the least, scary appearance. The title, developed by Nightmare Forge Games, will be released in 2024.
