SSD use strongly recommended for Final Fantasy XVI on PC

Currently exclusive to the PS5, Final Fantasy XVI will soon be arriving on PC. In the meantime, producer Naoki Yoshida has an important message for those waiting for this version.

In an interview with Famitsu, he asks gamers to "prepare an SSD" to run Final Fantasy XVI properly on the PC. He also points out that, while it will be possible to use a conventional hard disk, this will prove "a pain" for users.

"Even if we did our best to adjust the GPU, in a game where loading speed is critical, using the HDD would be a pain", he said.
