Ubisoft withdraws ads from social network X

Following in the footsteps of Warner Bros., Disney, Apple and IBM, Ubisoft has decided to stop advertising on X.com. The French publisher recently held a promotional campaign for its game Assassin's Creed Nexus VR.

The company did not give the reasons behind this choice. However, a controversy is currently affecting Elon Musk's social network, where openly anti-Semitic messages have found their way into some of the ads of the companies mentioned at the start of this article. These were then removed from the platform.

Ubisoft could blame X.com's lack of moderation.
