Over 10 million games sold in Europe in October

It's time to take stock of game sales on the European continent in October. A total of 10.21 million games were sold across all platforms. This figure includes both physical and digital sales.
In first place, unsurprisingly, was EA Sports FC 24, although its sales performance was down 10% on FIFA 23 last year. It's a slight drop that can be explained by the franchise's name change.
In second place was Assassin's Creed Mirage, followed by Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Lords of the Fallen.
In terms of consoles, the PS5 is still in the lead in Europe, with sales up 145% on the same period in 2023. The Switch is second, but records a 20% drop. Things are getting tougher for Microsoft, as Xbox Series X|S sales plummet by 52% year-on-year.
481,000 consoles were sold on Europe in October.
