Embracer announces that it has laid off around 900 people in recent weeks

It's been known for quite some time now that Embracer Group is currently undergoing a major restructuring plan.
Studios such as Volition (Saints Row) and Campfire Cabal have been closed. Others such as Crystal Dynamics (Tomb Raider), Zen Studios (Pinball) and Beamdog have seen their workforce greatly reduced. Gearbox Software (Borderlands) has also been put up for sale.
Today, Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors declared that 5% of the company's workforce had been made redundant. As of September 2023, 900 people have been dismissed. Unfortunately, this figure could rise in the near future.
