Nintendo bans the use of third-party controllers at tournaments

Nintendo has just published the new guidelines for community tournaments, and these have provoked a wave of negative reactions.

The new rules include a ban on over 200 participants for in-person tournaments, as well as on selling goods and receiving compensation from third-party sponsors.

However, what will really upset players is the prohibition on the use of third-party controllers. In fact, one user on Twitter points out that this decision is exclusionary for people with accessibility needs who use custom controllers.
