Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, is in the design phase

CD Projekt RED is developing the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 at its American studios. Currently called Project Orion, this second opus is being produced by teams based in Boston and Vancouver.

In a recent announcement, the company provided information on the game's progress. "This project is on a conceptual design level right now, and it’s going to be designed by a team of veterans who were responsible for fine-tuning Cyberpunk 2077 and designing Phantom Liberty."

By the end of 2024, half of the workforce in charge of Project Orion will be in North America, and the other half in Poland.
