Three companies, including Ubisoft, have reportedly made an offer to acquire Arkane Studios

Arkane Lyon and XBOX have extended their discussions until December 13, 2026 regarding the studio’s future. We don’t know what will happen, but Bloomberg reports some rumors about potential buyers.

At least three companies in the gaming industry have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Arkane Studios. Jason Schreier reports that Ubisoft has made an offer to acquire the developer behind Dishonored and Deathloop. XBOX is also said to have considered selling the studio to its management.

For now, it appears no deal has been closed. Marvel’s Blade could also be saved thanks to a potential acquisition.
