Gran Turismo 7 has reportedly sold 12,7 million copies

Gran Turismo 7 has been available on PS4 and PS5 since March 2022, and is a surefire hit for Sony. The racing sim from Polyphony Digital is one of PlayStation’s biggest successes in recent years.

According to new estimates from Alinea Analytics, the game has now sold 12.7 million copies worldwide. This equates to $840 million in revenue. Gran Turismo 7 ranks second behind Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ($1.3 billion) among first-party titles for this generation.

It’s worth noting that 76.1% of sales were on PS5, compared to 23.9% on PS4. On PS5, physical copies accounted for 43.3% of sales. Finally, in October 2026, 3 million players launched Gran Turismo 7.
