FromSoftware's Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods has been delayed to 2027

In an era where video game releases are regularly delayed, we’re used to reading lengthy statements from studios explaining their decisions.
That’s not the case with FromSoftware, the renowned developer of souls-like games, to name just a few, which published a two-sentence post on X announcing that The Duskbloods has been postponed until 2027.
"While the development of The Duskbloods is in the final stages of fine-tuning, we have decided to postpone the launch window to 2027. We apologize to the players who have been patiently awaiting the release of this title and thank you for your patience and support."
This news isn’t particularly surprising, given several months of radio silence regarding the project’s progress—the most recent being the disastrous outcome of the network test last August. The studio’s first Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive will therefore be delayed a little longer.
