Sony has reportedly sent a survey to developers asking for their opinions on physical discs

What if PlayStation was starting to have second thoughts about its decision to phase out physical discs starting in January 2028? There is still a lot of discontent among gamers, and some developers have also expressed reservations about this decision.
According to the insider Moore’s Law is Dead, Sony reportedly sent a survey to its partners to gauge their opinions on no longer being able to sell games on discs. Developers are reportedly being asked to share their views with the company on the phase-out of physical media.
Of course, there’s no indication so far that PlayStation will change its strategy, even if the survey results favor physical discs.
