Take-Two reiterates the growing importance of PC for its GTA VI strategy

PS5 and Xbox Series players will be able to get their hands on GTA VI in almost exactly two months. Meanwhile, PC users are champing at the bit, waiting for an official announcement about the game’s release on their platform. One thing is certain: Take-Two Interactive hasn’t forgotten this audience, which has been sidelined for now.
During a brief meeting with investors on September 17, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of the American publisher, was asked about the launch strategy for GTA VI. In particular, he was asked to comment on the release of the Rockstar title on PC.
"I assume this is a question regarding the cadence of PC launches. The strategy of the company is, over time, generally speaking, to launch for any platforms for which there's a meaningful audience. But that isn't always the case, and certainly, if platforms were no longer viable, we could change that strategy."
While he obviously didn’t provide a specific release date or window, Zelnick clearly implied that GTA VI will arrive on PC sooner or later. Rumors suggest a possible release as early as 2027.
