Resident Evil 9 could be announced next year for release in 2025

Capcom's schedule looks set to be very busy over the next few years. The Japanese publisher will also be pulling out all the stops for Resident Evil, which will be receiveing both remakes and new entries.

According to insider Dusk Golem, the ninth episode of the franchise is due to be presented to the world in 2024 with a release scheduled for 2025.

Finally, according to the same insider, Capcom will announce a "big game" at the end of the year, for launch in autumn 2024.
