Baldur's Gate 3 will have 17,000 different endings

Following on from the 174 hours of cinematics, Baldur's Gate 3 now has another staggering figure for us. In an interview with Fextralife, one of the game's scriptwriters declared that this third entry will have 17,000 different ending variants.

Mind you, we're talking about "variants" here, not endings as such. For example, depending on the player's choices during the course of the game, one character may be replaced by another without necessarily changing the conclusion in depth. These will simply be minor changes for aesthetic reasons.
