Miami has finally approved the marketing campaign for GTA VI

Earlier this month, several high-ranking Miami officials had strongly opposed the display of a marketing campaign for GTA VI in the city. Local elected officials and law enforcement deemed the Rockstar Games title too violent to promote.

Ultimately, the Miami Beach City Commission approved the promotional materials by a vote of four to three. The campaign in question will launch on October 15 and will involve the installation of billboards and other promotional materials along the waterfront. Other public spaces may also be included.

This decision applies only to Miami Beach, so Vice City-themed advertisements will soon be there.
