GTA VI gets a dozen new images and will have a huge map
, by Thibaut
Now it’s Edge magazine’s turn to treat us to several never-before-seen images of Grand Theft Auto VI. Set to launch on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the Rockstar Games title is revealing more and more details with just three weeks to go until its release.
The screenshots in question reveal some panoramic views of Vice City, the underwater wildlife, NPCs, and even Jason and Lucia in action. In this article published by Edge, the developers also shared some additional information.
For example, the map’s size is nearly equivalent to that of GTA IV, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined. There will also be ten times as many interiors, a longer day/night cycle, and a fully functional public transportation network (buses and trains). Storms can damage aircraft, the relationship with Lucia will unfold across four levels, and each car will have its own fuel gauge and engine health meter. The most expensive models will be equipped with GPS trackers.
In short, realism will be a key feature in GTA VI.
