Following several requests from part of the community, Microsoft has launched a patch for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live, fixing matchmaking for several popular games.
As a result, once the patch was put online, an unusual influx of players went back to several "old" titles from the Call of Duty franchise, such as Black Ops 2, which attracted 10,000 simultaneous players last Sunday. Meanwhile, Modern Warfare 3 recorded 7,000 simultaneous users.
Other titles such as Shadowrun are also benefiting from this famous patch.
