Sometimes, it takes years to discover all a game's secrets. This is true for Call of Durt: Modern Warfare 3, which saw the light of the day back in November 2011. A new, deleted scene devs has been discovered just recently.
It shows a mysterious character named “shadowman” and “ominous stranger” in the game's files. This cinematic seemed to tease a sequel to the trilogy. Activision ended up not going for a Modern Warfare 4 before finally rebooting the series in 2019.
