Star Wars Outlaws to feature huge open world

Next year, Ubisoft Massive will set off for a galaxy far, far away. The studio responsible for The Division is currently working on Star Wars Outlaws, a title that will plunge us right into a Massive (pun intended) open-world.

In an interview with Edge magazine, Julian Gerightly, the title's director, stated that the size of a planet in Outlaws is equivalent to two or three zones in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which remains one of the games with the largest open world to date. Finally, each location is designed by hand, meaning that Ubisoft will not be using procedural generation to fill in the emptiest environments.
