Patch 1.01.00 for Crimson Desert is now available and comes with plenty of changes

All players with a copy of Crimson Desert on consoles and PC can now download Patch 1.01.000. It includes various improvements, fixes, and new features.

This free update includes faster loading and fast-travel speeds. Movement controls have been improved, allowing players to hold down the run button or tap it briefly to increase speed. Cooking is now more intuitive with the Cook Now option. Players can now store up to 240 items and equip gear on the fly.

We can also note the arrival of a fixed 4K output on PS5, improved visual quality when using a ladder, and the addition of an icon to indicate new quests and icons on the mini-map to indicate keys and anvils. Photo mode has been optimized with a field of view slider. The interaction range with NPCs has even been increased.

Additionally, five summonable mounts have been added, along with an upgrade item that instantly upgrades equipment to level 4. Finally, there are some fixes and tweaks, such as gliding now consuming less stamina, the ability to orient the mini-map toward the north, and a prompt asking for permission before unlocking a door with a key.
