Square Enix announces Star Ocean The Second Story R for release on November 2

This one right here at the Nintendo Direct didn't surprise us at all. After being leaked on Square Enix's very own website, Star Ocean The Second Story R is finally official, and we have a trailer. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5 and PS4 on november 2, 2023.

Graphics are remastered in a 2.5D style, with 2D characters walking through 3D environments. The combat system has also been modernized, but as far as we know the story should be unchanged.
