Square Enix lets slip the existence of a remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story

What if Square Enix hadn't revealed everything yet? The Japanese publisher could indeed be announcing a new project in the coming days, as this week, RPG Site made an intriguing discovery on the Japanese company's support site.

A logo for Star Ocean: The Second Story R appeared on the web page. While we know nothing more for the moment, we can safely asume that this title refers to a remake of the franchise's second opus, released in Japan in 1998. In 2019, Square Enix already launched Star Ocean: First Departure R, which was a remake of the first entry.
