What are we playing this weekend? #8

It's been a busy week for big-budget games (you know the AAA type). So, why don't we relax and take a look at some of the latest curiosities available on Steam?

As usual, we've selected five independent and/or little-known titles that have just received extremely positive reviews on Valve's store.

1. Steam Engine Simulator

Let's start with a freebie. The aim of this game is simply to simulate the inner works of a miniature virtual steam engine. All you have to do is adjust the various elements, then watch and listen as it runs.

2. Espresso Tycoon

It's time to manage your own coffee and everything that goes into it. In Espresso Tycoon, you have to take care of your customers, manage your staff, choose the decor and, of course, give it your all preparing some deserts.

3. Voidigo

Let's move on to a roguelite shooter with a retro look, whose objective is to string together a series of boss battles. Voidigo is a rather demanding title in which you need to dodge at the right moment, stun enemies and collect numerous powers to progress quickly.

4. 20 Minutes Till Dawn

Here comes another roguelite, but this time with a survival focus. In 20 Minutes Till Dawn, the player must survive the relentless onslaught of a horde for 20 minutes. Each hero has unique skills (with over 50 possible upgrades), all extremely useful for wiping out as many opponents as possible.

5. Smushi Come Home

Why don't we take a stroll in this exploration game with a relaxing atmosphere? We will take on the role of a little mushroom in the middle of a forest, and have to run, swim and use tools to get through the various zones. Quite a hit for those looking for a relaxing weekend.
