Illumination studio boss denies the existence of an animated The Legend of Zelda film

In recent days, rumors have been rife about the next animated films that Nintendo will no doubt be producing. Following the worldwide success of the Mario film, many expect to see the Japanese manufacturer collaborating once again with Illumination studio in the near future.
So much so, in fact, that rumors are circulating that a Zelda animated film is on the cards. However, Illumination boss Chris Meledandri denied the news to The Wrap. He explained that he didn't know where the rumor came from, but understood the desire to see such a project materialize. Of course, Meledradri may simply be playing it safe if production has only just begun.
