Twitch launches a new program to offer better remuneration for its partners

In response to the very aggressive economic policy of its new competitor Kick, Twitch has announced the introduction of a program entitled "partnership plus". The aim of this program is to offer greater remuneration to the platform's partners.

Thanks to this offer, streamers will be able to recuperate 70% of their net revenues (with a 30% for Twitch) generated via subscriptions to their channel. This is quite an appreciable margin, since until now it has been 50/50. Unfortunately, not all content creators will be able to benefit from this new advantage.

To be eligible, a user must maintain at least 350 paid subscriptions over three consecutive months. Once this target has been reached, partners will automatically switch to the "partnership plus" program for the next 12 months (even if the number of subscribers drops over this period). Finally, an annual limit of $100,000 has also been set by Twitch.

The program will roll out on October 1ᵉʳ, 2023.
