Final Fantasy VII Remake 3 will not be a temporary PlayStation exclusive

Insider NateTheHate has revealed several interesting details about the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy. The Switch 2 (and Xbox Series) port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is expected to be revealed at the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on Thursday, February 5.

According to NateTheHate, Square Enix has not signed a temporary exclusivity agreement with PlayStation for the third part. It will therefore be released simultaneously on all platforms. This makes sense, as the Japanese publisher has adopted a new multi-platform strategy for all its future games.
