EA has no plans to make a new Dead Space game

Despite the excellent remake of the first game released in 2023, Electronic Arts seems to want to put the Dead Space franchise to rest once again.

Sources contacted by the Insider Gaming website claim that the license has been shelved by the American publisher. For the time being, the company has no plans to develop a new installment, a remake, or even a reboot.

However, rumors suggest that there is hope for a possible sale of Dead Space to another publisher. The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, which will own almost all of EA once the takeover is complete, could sell off several assets in order to replenish its coffers.
