Diablo IV blows away press expectations

Before its early access on June 2 and official release two days later, Diablo IV has already been reviewed by the specialized press. And the 11-year wait has been worth it!

Right now, the Metacritic average for Diablo IV is 88% for the PC version and 91% for Xbox Series. Meanwhile, the game boasts an impressive 91% on OpenCritic. It’s worth noting that these scores may vary as hours go by.

To put it simply, the game seems to have met expectations. It’s both easy to grasp for novices and demanding enough for those that have visited Sanctuary already. There’s a lot of content here, both the main story and end-game, and of course you can’t forget the great art direction and impactful soundtrack.

Diablo IV has established itself as a sure contender for the Game of the Year awards.
