FromSoftware was to release a season pass for Elden Ring

Last March the Japanese studio announced the one and only expansion for Elden Ring, the "Shadow of the Erdtree", which will include a brand new adventure with plenty of new areas to explore and fearsome enemies to fight.

In any case, according to a rumor (as always, to be taken with a grain of salt) spread by an insider on Discord, FromSoftware originally planned to release two DLCs, to be included in one season pass. In the end, the Japanese firm opted to merge the two expansions into a single one.

The PvP mode introduced with “The Colosseum”, which launched via a free update, was also to be included in said season pass. If rumors are to be believed, then, we may have to brace ourselves for one of the biggest FromSoftware expansions to date.
