Bend Studio states once again that their next game will be a new IP

Following the totally unfounded rumor that Days Gone 2 was in development, Bend Studio felt the need to reiterate certain facts. In a recent blog post, the teams have provided a few details about the upcoming project.

Once again, the studio clarified that it’s a new IP. Although it’s first and foremost a single player game, it will feature some multiplayer elements and an open world that builds upon the mechanics previously seen on Days Gone.

We can only hope for Sony to unveil this new PS5 exclusive as soon as possible. For now, though, Bend Studio claims they will share more information on the project “when the timing is right”.
