Alan Wake II will be released on October 17th exclusively in digital format

Sony's PlayStation Showcase allowed us to discover the first gameplay footage of *Alan Wake II. And while we might have expected a delay, Remedy has finally announced that their survival-horror game will indeed be released this year. It will arrive on October 17, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Another important point is that this sequel will not have a physical release. It will be exclusively sold in digital format for 49.99 euros on PC and 59.99 euros on consoles. A Deluxe edition, including two expansions and some skins, will be available for an additional 10 euros.

Without spoiling too much, Alan Wake II will allow us to control two different characters across two distinct realities.
