Remedy has registered the Alan Wake's Return trademark once again

The return of Alan Wake seems inevitable. Following the excellent second installment in 2023, Remedy Entertainment is now turning its attention to CONTROL Resonant. The game is set to launch on September 24.

As for the famous writer, it’s not out of the question that a new project could be on the horizon. In fact, the Finnish studio has re-registered the Alan Wake’s Return trademark. Originally registered in 2016 for a series of in-game videos in Quantum Break, this trademark was reactivated this year.

Alan Wake’s Return is classified under the categories "multimedia services", "toys", "printed material", and "clothing". While we can't rule out a brand-new title, it’s likely that all of this is related to the film or TV series adaptation being developed by Annapurna.
