On PS5, the Call of Duty app will go from 126 GB to 25 GB
, by Thibaut
Activision has long been criticized for the Call of Duty app being far too large. On PS5, its current size is 126.2 GB (version 01.078.000)... And that's far from the largest size the software has ever reached.
However, the PlayStation Game Size account has published some very surprising information. With its 01.080.000 update, which will be rolled out soon, the software will be reduced to just 25.377 GB on Sony's console. The application will shrink by 100 GB. We do not yet know how such a feat has happened. The devs may have optimized the size of certain data and removed content.
On PS4, Call of Duty will go from 81 GB to 62 GB with patch 01.80.
