Nintendo reportedly delayed the launch of the Switch 2 several times
, by Thibaut
It took more than eight years between the first Switch and the Switch 2. The console was finally released on June 5, but Nintendo apparently postponed its launch several times.
In a recent article, Bloomberg discusses these deliberate delays on the part of the Japanese manufacturer. We learn that "Nintendo repeatedly postponed plans to launch the Switch 2 after its designers requested more time to perfect the games that would accompany the console."
A Nintendo Direct presentation of new games for the Switch 2 is expected to be broadcast around September 12.
