The anti-cheat software for Battlefield 6 asks users to delete Valorant
, by Thibaut
The first beta of Battlefield 6 has been a resounding success. Millions of players flocked to the virtual battlefields, and a second session will take place from August 14. In the meantime, users are reporting issues encountered during this first trial.
On PC, participants noticed a malfunction in the anti-cheat software linked to Battlefield 6 (Javelin). A window may pop up stating a Security Violation caused by a "general software incompatibility". Even more surprising, those affected are asked to "uninstall the conflicting software, or adjust its settings."
The software in question is none other than Valorant, the competitive free-to-play FPS from Riot Games. Javelin and Valorant's anti-cheat software, called Vanguard, appear to be in conflict. Let's hope DICE fixes this issue.
