EA wants to adapt Apex Legends into a movie or TV series

Since its debut in February 2019, Apex Legends has managed to carve out a niche for itself in the savage battle royale genre. Taking into account this popularity, Electronic Arts would like to take the license beyond the realm of video games.

During her interview with Variety, EA Entertainment President Laura Miele said she was "very promited" about the idea of adapting Apex Legends into a feature film or TV series.

"Players don’t have all the backstory, the history, and there’s just rich worlds and rich history with these characters and these legends that can come to life through linear media and partnerships. We’re pretty motivated to do that, and doing it in a way that really respects and upholds the brand and the franchise."
