The company we know as Rare nowadays was founded back in 1982 as Ultimate Play the Game before rebranding in 1985. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Microsoft will offer an accesory based in the British company's.
Amazon has leaked the existence of an Xbox controller celebrating Rare's 40th anniversary. It has been designed by the 8BitDo brand and will only work on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, Android and iOS. The retail price is currently listed as $89,99.
This model features Hall Effect sticks and back paddles. What's more, it's also the first 2.4 GHz wireless Xbox controller from 8BitDo. With Rare celebrating its anniversary on August 4, the official announcement would be only a few hours away.
