The Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 is now official

It wasn't much of a secret, but we now know for sure that Battlefield 6 will feature a Battle Royale mode. It will be available as a free-to-play standalone game shortly after the release of the base game on October 10.

The title will feature two distinct modes. On one hand, we'll have a fairly classic battle royale mode, and on the other, a Gauntlet mode that is said to be more competitive. That's all we known for now.

It's worth noting that Battlefield Labs members will get to try out the battle royale in the coming weeks.
