The Perfect Dark cancellation costed Deus Ex actor several thousand dollars

We won't remind you that Perfect Dark was recently cancelled by Microsoft. The Initiative studio was also shut down. This decision on the part of the American manufacturer had another, somewhat more unexpected consequence.
On X, actor Elias Toufexis revealed his involvement in the project. He is best known for his role as Adam Jensen in the Deus Ex saga. The actor has also appeared in a number of games, including Gotham Knights, Starfield, Death Stranding and Dynasty Warriors: Origins.
While we don't know his exact role on Perfect Dark, Toufexis has stated that the cancellation cost him several thousand dollars.
"These games getting canceled is a constant threat. I had a good amount of days of acting in Perfect Dark that just got scrapped. Thousands of dollars that I expected and counted on gone in a snap. "
"..now every game I do as director or actor I wake up hoping it isn’t canceled."
