Unity has laid off 600 employees and plans to close 28 of its offices worldwide

Less well-known than Epic Games' famous Unreal Engine, Unity's game engine is still widely used in the gaming industry. It has been used to create extremely popular titles such as Fall Guys, Genshin Impact, Sons of the Forest, and Pokémon Go. Unfortunately, these big names will not save the teams from a big wave of layoffs...

Indeed, Unity has decided to eliminate 600 more positions as part of this third restructuring plan. In addition to this, the company aims to close 28 of its offices over the next few years. Last June, 500 employees had already been laid off and other departures had occurred in January 2023.
