Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is getting released before April 2026

No, the remake of the iconic Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is not dead. Despite the proyect getting rebooted since it was announced in September 2020, the game is still alive.
This was announced by Ubisoft during the presentation of its results for the quarter ending March 31, 2025. The French publisher indicated that several titles will be released between now and April 2026. These are Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Resurgence, Anno 117: Pax Romana and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. Other games expected during this period will be made official shortly.
Insider Gaming also reported that the famous remake would opt for a more “authentic” approach, and that Yuri Lowenthal would not reprise his role as the prince. A Persian actor would be preferred.
