Shuhei Yoshida praises Clair Obscur: Expedition 33... and slams AAA RPGs in the process
, by Thibaut
One thing is clear: with a launch scheduled for April 24, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the most followed releases of the year. And Sandfall Interactive's title has not left Shuhei Yoshida indifferent.
The former head of indie games and studios at PlayStation spoke about the RPG on the Easy Allies YouTube channel podcast. In passing, he also made a point of taking a dig at big-budget productions.
"The game is beautiful and it has a 30-hour main story with another 30 hours of side missions, but it was made by a team of 30 people. That's incredibly productive compared to all those AAA RPG developers."
Yoshida also added that Clair Obscur "will inspire other game developers and publishers".
